Aurora Breakfast

The gorgeous quilt in the guest bedroom at Mary's house was made by her sister Sarah -- a gifted quilter. The stitching is amazing...and, incidentally -- this bed was SOOO COMFORTABLE...


I took a picture of Mary in her sewing studio...surrounded by all of her favorite things...

That morning we go to Hank's for breakfast...

Mary has a circle of friends in Aurora. The "Walkie-Talkies", and they start every day with a WALK around town. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall -- even if it's 30 degrees below zero -- they WALK. After the walk -- they meet at Hank's for coffee.

It should be noted that during my visit, Mary & I DROVE the short distance to the restaurant and we ate BREAKFAST, not just coffee. Humm...

Good thing I don't live in Aurora, Mary -- you'd weight 220 lb...
