Dubuque Day Trip Rocks

The creative part of 2020 Grandma Camp will be painted rocks. We set up a space in our NEWLY CLEARED OUT BASEMENT for all our painting supplies...

And, on the day we were headed to Dubuque, Lilly and Warren each picked out one of their rocks...
The plan was that they would each hide a rock in Dubuque.
After we went DOWN the hill on the incline -- we needed a cold drink (it was 95 degrees)
Just getting a glass full of ICE was a big treat.
The bar we went to was only open with outside seating.  That was fine with us.  We enjoyed their impromptu parking lot restaurant...note the interesting murals.
The kids decided NOT to hide their rocks at Eagle Point Park -- because they worried they'd never be found.  Lilly hid her rock in this flower pot.
And -- OF COURSE, THERE WILL BE A LUNCH.  Applebee's on this day...
