Our Putnam Visit

So, it was a big day. We did a rummage sale, and the $1.00 movie -- THEN we hooked up with Uncle Ross to visit the Putnam Museum.

They thoughtfully have FREE admission for much of the summer.

Warren is most interested int he INTERACTIVE exhibits.

You use the paper plates to make a design --

And, via technology, it is shown on the giant tv screen

The kids love the long staircases in this building

And  they always look for the wooden horse...a permanent Putnam exhibit. 

Making ART out of TRASH is a theme I can identify with.

To end our most perfect day -- we went to SIPPI'S -- a downtown bar/grill. They serve the BEST cheese fries in the Quad Cities...and one order ($9.00) is enough food for all four of us..!!

sorry...I forgot to take a picture until the fries were ALL GONE...

Of course -- there will always be a table game!!
