TMBC Retreat, The Set-Up

The actual Retreat Center is a new building (2003) that sits behind the original farmhouse. It can sleep 11 people -- and the spotless, upstairs bedrooms are simply furnished with twin beds, Lazy Boy recliners and a good reading lamp.  (with shared bath/shower.)
This is a pretty good outside photo of the building we were in. Very spacious for JUST THE FOUR OF US, eh?
Sister Margaret took a picture for us...
We had PLENTY OF beautiful, sunny SPACE to set up our Featherweights.
I really cannot tell you how much I enjoy this little dynamo...
Behind LP, you can see our cutting station set up under the window, and an ironing station (blue flowered mat) as well...
This is the other side of the same room...note the lovely fireplace, the comfy chairs -- and the sweet little glass topped breakfast table where we ate our meals (with binoculars on the window sill...if we only had time for birdwatching!.)
Ann was in charge of making ALL OUR MEALS.  I simply cannot tell you what a luxury this was.  To have somebody else cooking you breakfast, lunch and dinner.  YIKES.  It was like being a married man in the 50's...
Ann prepared our food in the big well-equipped kitchen, and served it on the open buffet counter
