DVM: NYC Empire State

Hard to believe -- but this is still our first afternoon!! We were already at Macy's -- so it was an easy walk...
And -- hey -- IT'S NOT LIKE YOU CAN MISS IT...
Although, DVM thought it was time to have their first NYC Starbucks!!
We followed the signs...
Inside, this is engraved on the floor...
The uniforms are right out of 1930.
Once we got to the 80th floor (after standing in the slow-moving line for nearly two hours.) We all took pictures.
Maddie and Val were loving it.
DVM took the stairs up the final 6 flights (instead of waiting in another long line for those elevators)...but I didn't go with them.
Instead, I stayed on the 80th floor and tried to read some of the graphics...Actually, I REALLY NEEDED TO SIT DOWN. But there were only three benches...
This was the longest bench...and it was full of people.  Kinda.  The guy doing the "man-spreading" took up three seats the entire time I was there.

  1. That's what I noticed every time we have been to NYC - really hard to find a place to stop and just sit for a minute.
