More Merry Mary....

When Mary visits, we always have A LOT TO DO. There is work, play, thrift store shopping...catching up with my people...

And, of course, Mary has to actually SCHEDULE her visit so that she can participate in the Tuesday Morning Breakfast...because -- yes -- THESE ARE MY PEOPLE...
Here we are -- Tuesday morning breakfast at our local HyVee...
The actual food is NEVER the point.  It's about doing our weekly download...Mary brought gifts for everybody...OF COURSE.  It's a big sunny room -- nobody cares how long we sit -- and they have unlimited coffee refills....
Women who sew are simply THE BEST...Mary shared some of her new project ideas (which she will be taping with Nancy Zieman soon) with Sandy and Linda.
Then, Linda shared the beautiful Flower Girl dress she made for her daughter's upcoming wedding!!
The work on this dress is impeccable...it is simply beautiful -- even the lining was perfection. LOVE the BLING!!
In April -- Minnesota is still about wool socks and winter clogs.  Iowa is ALMOST sandal weather...(again, this is ME being optimistic)...
At the end of the visit, Mary needed an extra suitcase!! (yes, you are right -- my trunk is already full)...
Thanks to her upgraded airline status -- ALL THESE BAGS fly free back to Minnesota...
AND, like always, we are already planning our NEXT visit. Which, this year, could be me and Marion going to Aurora to experience the Northern Lights Music Festival. Mary's friend, Veda Zuponic, brings the best and the brightest music students from all over the world -- and they perform in the local high schools and churches...YES, it sounds like a plan!!
