Iowa in January is cold. Our temperatures are often below zero and our weathermen LIVE to use this phrase, "and when we factor in the wind chill -- it feels like 30 below zero out there..."
So -- it is no big surprise that our smart people all go south for the winter. To Texas (my sister Ronda), Florida(my friend Marion) or Arizona (the woman at the other end of this purse). They have created a new sub-species -- the "snowbird"...
The Arizona snowbird girl is one of our regular Tuesday morning clubbers and yes -- WE MISS HER. Tuesday mornings are NOT the same without Linda P. We enjoy her sew and tell projects...she always brings a creative spin to everything she does...
Do you remember which one is Linda P.??
I'll give you a hint..She is the one with the BIGGEST SMILE...
She always brings something interesting to share at our annual Mary-Mulari-Lunches...
Like the time she made personalized aprons for her twin daughters...
But this year -- Mary is late with her visit -- so Sandy is going to have to pick up the sew-and-tell-slack!
Yes, Linda -- the purpose of this blog post is simply to torture you. Mary is coming and you will be in Sun City....you fair-weather, warm-blooded wimp...
