A Typical Saturday

Saturday morning, Warren woke up at 8:30, and ran down the hall -- ALL DRESSED UP and ready to go. Lilly slept until 9:30.  I made them a car breakfast of English muffins and gogurt.

Then we headed to the Monarch Butterfly hatching event in DeWitt, a town about 20 miles up the road.

They had wonderful kids’ activities...Lilly did a scavenger hunt, and made a bracelet, and some other crafts.

Warren was pouting, so he got a time out.

After a little talk (he was on his way to NO pancakes)...he decided it was in his best interest to change his attitude and p.a.r.t.i.c.i.p.a.t.e.

We ate lunch(breakfast) at the Sunrise Café. THEN, we went to the Watertower park for 30 minutes, before it was time to go to the movie.

Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible Fallout. We LOVE THESE movies...(we stumbled on the early movies on tv).
There was only one other person in the theater when we arrived...

We got to PICK ANY SEAT...!!
It was the PERFECT SATURDAY...right?

Well --soooo close.

On Monday -- the REST of the story...
