During the years I was collecting pink flamingos, my sister Ronda was collecting pigs. When I think about it, for every pink flamingo I brought home, Ronda would have six pigs...
Nowadays, I am hooked on pithy t-shirts -- and she collects Nativity sets. For Christmas, she takes down every single pig and replaces it with a Nativity....
To kick off our holiday season -- the TMBC came to my house for breakfast -- then we went over to Ronda's house for the Nativity Tour...

The nativities are everywhere...we are surrounded... |
Every shelf is completely crammed with Nativities...every ornament on this tree is a Nativity |
Little ones, big ones...nativity books, blankets, sweatshirts... |
This set is large, so it gets it's own tabletop... |
This set is made out of BRICKS -- so it has to sit on the floor!! |
This is the most expensive Nativity -- the wood comes from Jerusalem... |
This wall hanging is made out of copper wire. |
Soft sculpture nativity |
our sister pic (with caribou hanging on the wall) |
Ronda's first Nativity came from Alaska. She was a newlywed when she bought it at craft show... |
She has several Precious Moments versions... |
We kept saying...Wow... |
A Nativity jigsaw puzzle that was framed...and a quilted wall hanging... |
Ronda made PIE for our breakfast dessert... |
Please note -- in all of the pictures, we had our coats on. Ronda is famous for her cold house. They have a wood burner in their house, so the gas furnace doesn't get used...much....maybe ever. We have propane here in the country, but the gas truck hasn't been to her house since sometime in the 90's...
Hey -- to each his own. But the TMBC was warned. I told them that before Ronda would turn her furnace on, there would have to be skim ice on her toilet...so dress accordingly.
