Being A Grandma

When it comes to being a Grandma -- I had NO IDEA how wonderful it would be. It is nothing at all like being a PARENT.

Being somebody's parent means you are responsible 24 hours a day...FOR YEARS. And you always have to be TEACHING...there are so many lessons you want to pass on to your children. It is a gigantic big job. You want your kids to grow up to be contributing adults, make good choices, and be kind, thoughtful and hard-working.You worry about their education, their friendships, their diet, their sleeping habits. You want to get it right...and all that vigilance creates a constant weight and stress on your heart and mind.

But being somebody's GRANDMA is nothing but joy. Pure and simple. This job is all about being a soft place to fall...where a child feels accepted and 100% unconditionally loved. It is SO EASY I CANNOT TELL YOU...

Of course, I can always count on Pinterest to come up with the perfect sentiment...
This is a GREAT little onesie...
A caplet for a baby...Mary Mulari WILL LOVE THIS IDEA...(The Ya Ya Sisters are really into wraps right now!)
