Disney on Ice

We have a wonderful venue here -- the Mark in Moline, Illinois -- where all the big tours come. Elton John, Bette Midler, Carrie Underwood, Maroon 5 -- and Disney on Ice.

Because I think half the fun is the ANTICIPATION -- I decided to give Lillian a little "Disney" gift every night for a week -- ramping up to the show... this Cinderella pillow had the little mouse living in the pocket...

The next night, there was the Tinkerbell hat...

And, as we were going through the week-long countdown, when we got to "only one more day until Disney on Ice"...she got the Cinderella flashlight...

Here were are, arriving at the Mark on that night...Lillian was sooo excited...

And -- I'm not kidding -- IT IS A WONDERFUL SKATING SHOW...

The three of us had a wonderful time. Emily, Lillian and me...at our annual Disney on Ice date.

I already know it will be a sad day for me when there is no child in my life who would enjoy Disney on Ice...
