Here's the situation. The internet platform that handles online auctions (many different websites -- Hi-Bid in this case) has been hacked. They have been locked out -- it's one of those ransom situations.
Obviously, this is a situation WAY ABOVE OUR PAYGRADE...and there isn't a thing either I or the auctioneer can do about it.
This is a very big company, and we have been assured that they have hired a top notch internet security company to resolve this situation.
But, until things get back online, and are secure -- all auction activity will cease. Probably not just for me -- but for many online auction websites.
Here's the good news. When this issue is resolved, THE ART OF HOMEMAKING AUCTION is ready to go. It will be uploaded, and you will still have a FULL SEVEN DAYS to peruse and bid on all this treasure!!
Thanks for letting us know--I wondered why I couldn't get in there!! Such a shame that people have to do stuff like that. At least we know it will be a go as soon as things are resolved!!
