Although, some unexpected HITS this summer have been from the 80's and 90's. We've watched Ferris Bueler's Day Off, Contact, Kindergarten Cop, Princess Diaries, Top Gun, Stand By Me, Big, Sandlot...well, you get the idea. Some of these 30-year old movies have held up pretty well.
But --of course -- a big part of movie enjoyment is the actual THEATER EXPERIENCE.
Lucky for me -- the local Cinemas participates in the Summer Movie Club. Every Monday through Friday, they run a children's movie at 10:00...and the cost is only $1.00. Mostly, they are movies from last summer...
We went to the theater to watch: The Lego Movie, Smallfoot, Sherlock Gnomes...
If you haven't been inside a theater for five years or so -- you are IN FOR A TREAT. The chairs are all recliners |
In the lobby, the kids love posing with the coming attractions |
My favorite picture of Warren this summer.. |
