Birthdays should ALWAYS be special.

But the truth is, if you were born on a major holiday, your birthday gets lost in the shuffle...(I'm looking at my sister Deena, born on Christmas Day...LP on New Year's eve...)
Warren was born on New Year's Day, and, obviously, his birthday plays second fiddle to a long-standing pork/sauerkraut Pennsylvania tradition.
Once he was old enough to realize he was getting gyped -- the challenge was to make Warren's Birthday Special.
Two years ago, I struck on the idea of taking him to a local hotel -- with a SWIMMING POOL -- to spend the night.
He loves, loves, loves staying in a hotel!! (hey -- who doesn't?)

So -- this year -- to make Warren's birthday REALLY special -- we interviewed hotels. More about that tomorrow....
