Mary has been here for her annual December visit -- and we had A VERY BUSY time. Yesterday, on our way to the airport -- we stopped at my sister Deena's house so Mary could say hi and meet MORE CHILDREN!! My little grand-nephew Mason did just the right thing...as soon as he saw me -- he came flying across the room to jump up in my arms!!
SPECIAL BONUS POINTS, KIDDO!!
My creative niece, Kelcy -- is a FABULOUS photographer -- and she went all out at Halloween to create a unique costume for Mason, 2...
YES -- THAT IS A wagon-turned-into-Thomas-Train!!
And the cutest little conductor you EVER MET...Clearly, Mason should have WON THE COSTUME CONTEST in our little town. But NOOOOOO....instead -- some kid wearing a stocking over his head won the prize. Meanwhile Kelcy had to beat kids off the cardboard train...cuz THEY ALL WANTED A RIDE....
She felt Mason should have at least won "Fan Favorite"...!!
Our other trick-or-treaters came from my niece Amy...Cale is wearing the fabulous jester hat I made for him...
Garrett and Cash were content with vampire make-up
But the BIG WINNERS at our house were Landon and Memphis. The rule here is -- the last trick-or-treaters of the night get ALL THE LEFTOVER CANDY...there was so much left, the plastic handle on Mem's pumpkin broke...
Timing is everything, people...
