WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO??
The kids go back to school in two weeks, and I feel like we have barely scratched the surface with 2017 Grandma Camp. Wasn't this the year Lilly was going to have a pen pal? I was going to teach her all about snail mail...
That didn't happen.
And, then, too -- wasn't this the year we were going to remodel the little bedroom they sleep in? Time to get some NYC stuff up on the walls...
It's all still in boxes...
Hey...best laid plans and all that...
There were many extraordinary moments...It was the summer Lilly and Warren became obsessed with Hamilton...and we had a great Wisconsin road trip...
But I kinda think it will be the every-day moments they will remember.

| Many plays, museums, or exhibits... |

| Lilly learned some life skills...(ironing, along with mending) |

| If Warren's daily train track construction project could be laid end to end -- it would have reached California... |

| They love grocery shopping... |

| And lots of cooking! |
 |
| More trips to various parks... |

| Picnics... |
 |
| We went swimming EVERY SINGLE WEEK..!! |

| Really -- MANY, MANY restaurants... |
 |
| Lots of local parks... |
 |
| Actually, looking at these pictures, I can't imagine how Grandma Camp could have been any better. |
I'm missing them already...
