The Dance Marathon is a student organization at the University of Iowa that raises money to support the families of children who are battling cancer. I first became aware of this group when my six year old grand-nephew, Ambrose, was diagnosed with leukemia.
During his treatment at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, the family received support from the Dance Marathon team. In such common sense ways as -- Casey's gas cards, money for the cafeteria, to buy groceries or pay for parking...
Recently, they had an event at the Community Center in Princeton, Iowa...Lilly LOVES TO DANCE..

Cale and Ambrose were in the same grade, but Ambrose only got to complete the first grade. I took this video when their class graduated from elementary school...
Cale was just learning how to play his guitar...the poster was a photo of Ambrose.
