By 2009, my weight had gone over 300 pounds. YIKES. I was snoring at night, and could barely walk up a flight of stairs. I needed an extension belt to get on an airplane, and the weight was limiting my life. I knew I had to do something...so I started some new good habits. I walked on my treadmill every day. I also changed some bad habits -- and I didn't eat after 8:00 at night. Over the course of two or three years, I lost nearly 100 pounds.
BUT -- life is full of twists and turns...and what is it they say?
SITTING IS THE NEW SMOKING??!!
I've gone back to my old bad habits -- and my weight has been creeping back up. I'm actually afraid to get on the scale. ugh. My treadmill is covered with a layer of dust and I ate a whole package of caramel apple wraps while watching The Biggest Loser...
SO IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. I NEED TO PUSH THE RESET BUTTON BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE...
You will never guess what I'm about to do....!!
P.S. No -- I'm not getting my jaws wired shut, and it does not involve surgery!! What I'm planning is actually going to be FUN...I'm very excited about it...and I'll be writing it up next week...
