That same day -- we had to make Lillian's obligatory cupcakes. I enjoy the fact that she is so earnest about doing her work...
The stirring, the pouring, the licking of the spoon...
As she walked into the living room.... she stopped to survey the incredible mess that she'd made...I wonder what she's thinking...
Something like, "my work here is done"....
