After being buckled in her car seat for four hours -- Lilly gets out of the van and starts to RUN DOWN THE YARD.
Grandma and Grandpa look forward to a running-jumping-hug from Lilly.... And the first thing she wants to do is see the chickens.
She is SO HAPPY to be out of her car seat...and Sophie is always delighted to be here, too...
Every time we see her -- she's doing something new. Walking, talking, thinking, making up her mind about political parties, learning new faces...
And since it's been awhile since they visited -- her room was CHOCK FULL of new outfits. Many little outfits, several pair of jeans, five jackets, one fake fur leopard coats, six pair of pajamas, hats, gloves, boots, shoes...Oh, yeah...Grandma Rita is a thrift-shopping FOOL...
The best news is that Memphis and Lillian wear the same size. THANK GOD. Memphis came over earlier in the week and tried on all the clothes. I'd hold up two dresses, and Memphis would decide which one Lilly would get and which one was for her. Memphis LOVES to try on clothes -- Lilly acts like every new outfit is made out of cactus.
It is so fascinating to me how every child -- from such a young age -- has their own point of view. What they like or don't like....
