Maddie's Dress

I cannot even imagine my life without sewing. Honestly. There is some new, exciting project EVERY SINGLE DAY. And, the best part of my sewing life is that it can happen IN AN INSTANT. Like the day Madeline was here. We went down to the basement -- because she was going to mode podge my washing machine....and THERE was a t-shirt.

Hey -- here's a good idea....why don't we make you a t-shirt maxi dress??

The shirt was black, with white letters that said, "I tried to be good, but I got bored."

It took all of five minutes for me to sew that shirt to an existing long white skirt...

Maddie added some glitter....

PERFECT, eh?

She did some t-shirt braiding on the back...and we fringed the sleeves...
